The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all best robot vacuum cleaner for carpet the features you can need. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
